The Beauty of The Past
With fast and changing times we sometimes forget to pause and take a look at the old days and how much we enjoyed them. From the old oil lamp to the steam engines to the galvanised bath tub. These are days long gone but never forgotten.
My name is Paul O'Sullivan and I am an artist and work in the creative media online business, but always like to revert back to my basic love of art and create something worthwhile.
From the early days of watching my mother doing oil paintings and watercolours I always had a great love art. Originally from Co. Cork, I moved to Carlow in 2003 and currently live in Fenagh. I have a great fondness of the old country life and times past so I decided to pour that passion into my paintings.
I use oil and water based paints but really enjoy the acrylic medium as it is fast drying and once i begin the painting I finish it in the moment.
